Tournaments in capital letters are USCF-rated events. Tournaments not in all capital letters note club-rated events. Beginning with 2006, all posted games will consist of USCF-rated tournament games from open events. The only exceptions to this are the games of the Tacoma Chess Club Championship. Submitted games are stored on the server and are available for viewing and/or downloading via a link. For simplicity, submitted games are organized by tournament in descending chronological order beginning with the year 2005. Submit GamesPlease e-mail me the games using the popular Chess Base, Chess Assistant, or Chess Master programs. Or you may e-mail the rated game in .pgn format as described by link to the right. View GamesPlease click on the following links below to view and/or save recorded games. The games submitted were taken from copies of score sheets returned to the Tournament Director. Submitted games without a legible scoresheet are not recordable. When a move is ambiguous, the most reasonable move was recorded. When a score sheet presented a series of consecutive ambiguous moves, the score sheet was destroyed. If a recorded game is incorrect, you may notify the web master. Thanks to all those who have submitted games and took the care to be precise with their score sheets. Portable Game Notation (.pgn) is the current and universal (ASCII text) language used to store and transmit games between computers and software programs.
Its appeal is efficient parsing by software programs to playback recorded games. Although software programs such as ChessBase, Chess Assistant, and ChessMaster, to name a
few, have their own written language, they all recognize and can parse For an example of a game in |
